AMBI® was founded in 2011 when Michael Brown had an idea for a tool-less selector switch. Our unique design allows for the lever to be quickly detached tool-less in a matter of seconds by means of a pointed object such as a bullet. By detaching all levers, the safety and security of the firearm is increased. The AMBI® selector switch was designed to be utilized with one lever that can be switched side to side. This will remove the risk of interference from the trigger hand. Some operators prefer two levers and we offer this as well.
In September of 2013 AMBI® decided to design rifles and accessories for clients looking to take their products to the next level. Check out our designs page to see these products. As we continue to create innovation for the firearms industry we do not update our website until a design has been thoroughly tested and patented if applicable. Please note all designs were created by AMBI® and some of the designs were created for clients. Mike Brown is a designer with experience in medical, beverage machines, packaging, aerospace, firearm accessories and small arms.
A machinist and engineer with innovative thoughts. Michael Brown designed the Adcor Bear to build an enhanced carbine geared to improve reliability and durability.
With Over 38 years of experience in all facets of manufacturing, Michael Brown has a very diverse set of skills. He can create, design, manufacture, test and evaluate products. Michael Brown’s 20+ patents will attest to his creativity. His abilities allow him to create a design that is friendly to manufacture. He can also optimize processes to save time and money but not take away the integrity.
